 Ava Square is a 121-unit affordable senior housing community located in Cape Coral, Lee County, Florida, being developed in partnership between ReVital Development Group, Birdsong Housing Partners, and Bright Community Trust.

Upon completion, Ava Square will offer 78 one-bedroom, 35 two-bedroom, and 8 three-bedroom apartments for residents age 55 and older. The community will include 19 apartments reserved for households earning up to 30% of Area Median Income (“AMI”), 45 apartments at 60% AMI, and 57 apartments at 70% AMI. Residents will enjoy a variety of amenities, including a fitness center, business lounge, community garden, on-site management, and dedicated spaces for resident programming and supportive services. These amenities are designed to encourage wellness, social connection, and an active, independent lifestyle.

The five-story, elevator-served residential building is being designed with environmental sustainability and storm resilience in mind, with is designed to satisfy both the National Green Building Standard (NGBS) certification and FORTIFIED Gold Multifamily certification. Ava Square will expand access to quality affordable housing for seniors while supporting Lee County’s continued recovery and providing a durable, welcoming community for its residents.
